Board of Supervisors Approves Contract

The Orange County Board of Supervisors met at their regularly scheduled board meeting this morning and, by a unanimous vote, approved the CONTRACT AGREEMENT between AOCDS and the County of Orange.

On October 11, 2019, the first of four 3.5% base salary increases will go into effect and be reflected on your November 1, 2019 paycheck. Many of the terms of the agreement will immediately go into effect.

I’d like to thank the Orange County Board of Supervisors and Sheriff Barnes for their leadership and commitment during the difficult negotiations process. The action taken today is a public demonstration of support for the sworn members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and District Attorney’s Office and it is appreciated.

Your Negotiations Team, Board of Directors and Area Representatives thank you, our members, for your loyalty, trust and participation in the negotiations and ratification process. We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
