AOCDS Members Only FAQ

 

Q.    I signed up for access to the members only section of the AOCDS website and received a confirmation e-mail containing my user name and password. When I attempt to log on, however, the screen merely blinks, clears the name and password from the entry boxes, and refuses to proceed to the member section. Is something wrong with my information? Any advice?

A.  Sounds like a problem with the increased security necessary nowadays.

Q.    I signed up for access to the members only section of the AOCDS website and never received a confirmation e-mail containing my user name and password. What happened?

A.   Many times lately we've received a password/username request with a misspelled or incorrect email address. When we get your request we check the AOCDS database to confirm your membership status. We then release the lock on your username/password so you can use it. With an incorrect email address we have no way of sending you an email confirming the unlocking of your username/password.

Each one of these: Verizon, Hotmail, Earthlink, AOL and others need to know that admin@aocds.org  and webmaster@aocds.org are OK email addresses.  As is the web address http://www.aocds.org/ and for signing in: https://aocds.readyhosting.com/secure/login.asp

 

Q.   I want access to the Members Only web site but I don't want to receive email from AOCDS. How do I do this?

A.  You must enter an email address to apply for the username and password. After you have received your username/password, sign in and when you're at the Members Only main page, go to the Update User Info button on the left navigation bar and click it. This will take you to your Maintain Member Record page.

Here you can change your password, email address, add email addresses or change the EMail Option from All Mail to No Email.
