Our association is proud to exclusively represent the 1800 fully sworn deputies, investigators and sergeants of the Orange County Sheriff's Department and the District Attorney's Bureau of Investigations. Our members proudly protect, at any risk or harm to themselves, the residents and visitors of Orange County, California 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Throughout our 25 year history, our association's guiding philosophy has been that professional law enforcement officers deserve to be compensated in a professional manner. We know that the Orange County Sheriff's Department and the District Attorney's Bureau save taxpayer dollars by recruiting and retaining some of the best law enforcement candidates in California. Both offices enjoy an extremely low vacancy rate for sworn positions and do not experience the high cost of replacing dissatisfied workers with new employees. What qualified law enforcement candidate wouldn't want to work for our two offices that offer competitive salary and benefits, fair and equitable employee rights and superior officer safety equipment?
Our association and all of Orange County are fortunate to have a great Board of Supervisors who are dedicated to public safety and respectful of professional peace officer duties. Under the leadership of our Sheriff and District Attorney, our members work diligently to ensure that the quality of life in Orange County remains among the best in the United States.
