2008 Scholarship
Program
The Association of
Orange County Deputy Sheriffs will award
scholarships to ten graduating high school
seniors.
The scholarships will be a $2,000.00 one-time
award.
To be
eligible, the applicants must meet the following
criteria:

A High School
graduating senior with a 3.0 GPA or better.
·
The parent or
guardian must be an active member of the Association
of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs.
·
Must be enrolled
in an accredited college by September with a minimum
of 12 units.
The applicant must
submit a completed application form by May 30,
2008, by 5:00pm to:

An official
sealed High School transcript
·
A 300 word essay
based on your educational and career goals.
·
List community
service performed and extra curricular activities.
Must be postmarked
by Friday, May 30, 2008. No Exceptions!
Finalists
will be selected by a neutral and outside
committee. The winners will be announced in July.
