Julie Cramer joined the AOCDS team in 2018 and is excited to be able to make a difference in our members’ lives. Her main duties include assisting with negotiations and “meet and confers” with the various departments that employ AOCDS members. Julie gained experience in representing law enforcement personnel while working for the Association of Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS). While there, she represented thousands of L.A. County deputy sheriffs in matters involving wages, hours and working conditions. She also represented deputies in the grievance process.

Julie began her law enforcement career as a deputy sheriff in L.A. She remained in that position for six years until being medically retired following a 2009 traffic collision. Julie holds an associate’s degree in Administration of Justice from East Los Angeles College and is currently working on a Public Administration degree from the University of La Verne. She is also certified in Human Resources Management from Cal State Fullerton, Duke University and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
