Sandy became a deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in 1995 and has been serving as an AOCDS area representative since 1996. She is a member of our Political Action Committee (PAC) and has participated in the last two contract negotiations.
Sandy is currently serving as the Southeast Investigative Sergeant. She worked in the jails and patrol until being promoted to investigator in 2003. Sandy’s experience as an investigator includes homicide, internal affairs, sex crimes, family protection and general investigations.
Promoted to sergeant in 2017, she was assigned to the Central Jail Complex before being transferred to her current position in 2018.
That same year, Sandy also became a sergeant on the crisis negotiations team after being a team member since 2008.
