Shiree Colton has been a dedicated and integral part of AOCDS since 1994. Before being named supervising office manager, she took on the roles of secretary, executive project manager and executive assistant at the organization. Shiree is always juggling dozens of tasks. She plans all the fundraising events benefiting the AOCDS Memorial Fund, the biggest being our annual Memorial Golf Tournament held each June. Shiree has helped raise more than one million dollars for the Memorial Fund. She also coordinates all AOCDS special events, such as the retirement party and Christmas party. Shiree spends a large part of her day assisting the president and executive director, and attends all AOCDS Board meetings.

Shiree stays involved with organizations outside AOCDS, as well. She has served two terms as president of PESO (Public Employees Staff Organization) and performed the treasurer duties for the California Peace Officers Memorial Foundation for over 14 years. She is a current member of the Orange Elks Lodge #1475.

Shiree grew up in Oregon and moved to Southern California in 1991. Prior to joining AOCDS, she worked at Cal-Pac Roofing. Shiree has had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people during her time at AOCDS and looks forward to many more years with the Association.
