Time is Running out to Apply for Rewarding and Free Teen Summer Leadership Program

The deadline is fast-approaching to be considered for a rewarding, unique and free opportunity for children of California Peace Officers who have passed away.

The Yang Leadership Summer Program is currently looking for motivated high school sophomores and juniors ages 14 to 16 who are planning to go to college. It’s a two-week, live-in program focusing on college and career. Students travel from all over the world to attend and the cost for selected students, including travel and food, is absolutely nothing. The program is sponsored by the Yang Foundation in conjunction with Chris Kelly’s Safer California Education Fund. This year’s program is scheduled for July in Berkeley, California. Attending students will gain knowledge and enjoy experiences that will stay with them throughout their lives.

If you know someone who would make a great candidate for the Yang Leadership Summer Program, contact Bill Gailey at wgailey@gaileyassociates.com IMMEDIATELY. You must contact him by April 15th in order for your candidate to be considered. Students are eligible whether their parent was killed on or off-duty. There are multiple spots available for qualified applicants.

Thank you for keeping these bright students in mind and helping them achieve their dreams.
