Ronald Marquez has had a sterling career as an Investigations and Security Manager with more than 35 years of experience in law enforcement, port security, and enterprise security operations. Ron led complex security, investigative, and risk management programs for one of the world’s busiest seaports and previously held investigative and investigative management roles with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department before retiring as a Detective Sergeant. He served for nearly five years as a Union Representative for AOCDS before becoming the Manager of the AOCDS Memorial Range Store. He holds an MBA from the University of La Verne and has successfully obtained his Federal Firearms License, coupled with an assortment of California DOJ Licensing Permits to operate our AOCDS Range Store.
Paula Wrenn is a seasoned Sales Associate at the AOCDS Range Store, supporting members and customers with equipment, gear, and product knowledge. With over 25 years of sales experience and a strong background working around law enforcement and duty-related equipment, her focus is on providing knowledgeable and reliable customer service and helping individuals select quality products at a fair value. She
takes pride in ensuring every customer leaves feeling confident in both their experiences and their purchases. Supporting those who serve our community is something she takes seriously, and she is proud to be part of an organization that puts its peace officers and public safety officers first.
Dave Melnyk began his career in law enforcement in the United States Army Military Police Corps in 1974 where he was an expert with the Colt 1911 pistol and M16 rifle. He then worked with the Vernon and West Covina Police Departments as a patrolman, detective, SWAT Operator, SWAT Team Leader, POST and FBI Certified Defensive Tactics, and Rifle and Pistol instructor. Dave retired as a sergeant in 2006 and joined the Orange County District Attorney’s Office as a DA Investigator where he was assigned to the Homicide Unit, Felony Panel, Range Staff, and Real Estate Fraud Units. For the last decade, he has conducted officer-involved shooting and in-custody death investigations in the Special Assignments Unit. He will be one of the Federal Firearms Licensees at the AOCDS Memorial Range Store.
