AOCDS is an affiliate partner with the California Peace Officers’ Memorial Foundation (CPOMF). Each May, CPOMF sponsors the annual California Peace Officers’ Memorial ceremonies in Sacramento. The ceremonies pay tribute to the fallen officers of the previous year, as well as the distant past, and honor the families who were left behind. The foundation also provides financial assistance to the primary survivor of the honored officers, administers a scholarship program for spouses and children of the fallen officers, and awards financial assistance to survivor peer support groups.
