Investigator Jeremy Johnson was elected to the AOCDS Board of Directors as Secretary in 2021. Investigator Johnson has been an involved member of AOCDS since 2014, as a proud and active AOCDS Area Representative. He is also a member of the AOCDS Political Action Committee (PAC).

Jeremy began his career with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in November 2010, as a Sheriff’s Correctional Services Assistant (CSA). He became a Deputy Sheriff in 2012. Since that time, he has had the pleasure of working within Corrections and Court Operations at the Central Men’s Jail, Intake Release Center, and Harbor Justice Center. He worked Patrol Operations in San Clemente and Aliso Viejo and was assigned to the Department’s Regional Traffic Bureau. Investigator Johnson currently works in the Department’s Investigations Division where he is assigned to the Cyber Crimes Detail. He is a member of the Department’s Major Accident Reconstruction Team (MART), Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT), Sheriff’s Response Team (SRT), and Peer Support Team (PST). Jeremy has also taken an active role in working with the future of our Department by working as an academy instructor at our Sheriff’s Basic Academy and as an explorer advisor, mentoring high school students interested in a future career in law enforcement.
