🇺🇸 25 Years Later — We Will Never Forget.
Today, AOCDS honors the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward danger with extraordinary courage and selflessness.
We also remember the thousands of first responders and recovery workers who remained at Ground Zero in the days, weeks, and months that followed—searching for victims, clearing debris, and serving amid dangerous conditions. Many later developed serious illnesses, including cancers and respiratory diseases, linked to their exposure. Their sacrifice continued long after the attacks ended.
Twenty-five years later, we remember the fallen, honor the heroes, and stand united in their memory.

AOCDS was proud to be out at Huntington State Beach today for the SoCTOA Motor Rodeo, supporting our members, connecting with our law enforcement partners, and cheering on our Orange County Sheriff’s Department competitors! 💚⭐️
Our AOCDS staff and Memorial Range Store team were on-site throughout the event with our AOCDS booth, where we had the opportunity to visit with members, showcase the AOCDS Memorial Range Store, hand out information and giveaways, and promote the many products and services available to our membership.
We also held a special AOCDS Memorial Range Store Gift Card raffle, giving one lucky attendee a little extra Range Store spending money! 🎟️🎉
Of course, one of the biggest highlights of the day was watching our OCSD members represent — and bring home some hardware! 🏆
🥈 Tom Vago earned 2nd Place for Individual High Score in the Adventure Class!
🥉 John Curtin, Jeremiah Stanley, and Chad Henley helped OCSD earn 3rd Place in the Group Competition!

The day was made even more meaningful by spending time with John and Mary Huffman, parents of fallen OCSD Motor Sergeant Matthew R. Davis. John and Mary remain a special part of our AOCDS family, and we are always grateful for the opportunity to spend time with them while continuing to honor Matt’s memory and legacy. 💙⭐️

Our thoughts are with the Minneapolis Police Department following Wednesday’s deadly shooting in downtown Minneapolis.
Three Minneapolis police officers were injured while responding to reports of gunfire inside an apartment building, including two officers who were shot as they moved toward the threat.
Two civilians were killed and several others were injured. Thankfully, all three injured officers are expected to recover.
The courage displayed by officers who run toward danger to protect others is a reminder of the risks law enforcement officers face every day.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the San Jose police officer who was critically injured in the line of duty Tuesday afternoon.
According to authorities, the officer was shot during an encounter with an armed robbery suspect in San Jose and remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition. The suspect was killed during the shootout.
