2018 Police Motorcycle Training and Skills Competition
9/12/18Giddy up and hop on your hogs, but leave your horses at home. This is a rodeo like no other. The Annual Police Motorcycle Training and Skills Competition is in its 46th year and draws officers from all across the western states. Round up your friends and family and come out to enjoy individual competition, team competition, all new cone patterns, the Top Gun competition, a raffle with prizes, the competitor awards, the achievement awards, exhibitors and vendors - all just steps from the beach. You'll even enjoy a live performance by the AOCDS Pipe Band. This motor rodeo is a wild ride. Don't miss it! The $30 entry fee includes admission, an event t-shirt and catered lunch. This is not an AOCDS sponsored event.

Get Safe - Advanced

Lake Forest K-6 residents, who attended "Get Safe - Basic," will get the chance to learn about personal safety awareness, self-defense, bullying prevention and much more. The class is held on 4 consecutive Mondays.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

If you have unused and expired prescription medications that you'd like to dispose of safely, you're encouraged to bring them to one of the many designated Orange County locations on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. It's free, it's anonymous and no questions will be asked. (Please do not bring any needles or syringes.) *This event is NOT sponsored by AOCDS.

Memorial Day - AOCDS Closed

AOCDS will be closed on Memorial Day in honor of those who have died while serving our country's armed forces. Please also take a moment to remember law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. AOCDS will reopen Tuesday, May 29th at 8:00 a.m.
5/28/18Operation Surf Huntington Beach Begins

This event is held in support of the men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom. Wounded active-duty and veteran service members from various branches of the U.S. military will take part in an epic life-changing experience at beaches across the Huntington Beach area. Through the healing power of the ocean, surfing, and camaraderie, these wounded heroes, to whom we owe so much, will overcome challenges and build a new understanding of their personal potential.
