Cops for Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament
5/3/19It's time to hit the green and raise money for Southland children in need. Each year, the Cops for Kids charity golf tournament helps about a thousand underserved kids and their families. Because of this fundraiser, youngsters are able to have gifts to open over the holidays, wear new clothes when they start their new school year, have a roof over their head and get necessary transportation. This year, $15,000 in college and trade school scholarships are being provided to at-risk students. You're invited to enjoy a fun day of golf and activities while making a big difference in these young lives. Advance registration is required!

Get Safe - Advanced
Community
Lake Forest K-6 residents, who attended "Get Safe - Basic," will get the chance to learn about personal safety awareness, self-defense, bullying prevention and much more. The class is held on 4 consecutive Mondays.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

If you have unused and expired prescription medications that you'd like to dispose of safely, you're encouraged to bring them to one of the many designated Orange County locations on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Memorial Day - AOCDS Closed

AOCDS will be closed on Memorial Day in honor of those who have died while serving our country's armed forces. Please also take a moment to remember law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. AOCDS will reopen Tuesday, May 29th at 8:00 a.m.

Operation Surf Huntington Beach Begins

This event is held in support of the men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom. Wounded active-duty and veteran service members from various branches of the U.S. military will take part in an epic life-changing experience at beaches across the Huntington Beach area. Through the healing power of the ocean, surfing, and camaraderie, these wounded heroes, to whom we owe so much, will overcome challenges and build a new understanding of their personal potential.
