10/17/18Taking care of your health should be top of mind all year long, but once a year, we make it easy and bring a complimentary, one-stop shop health fair to AOCDS members and their families. Not only can you get all the shots, scans and checks you need, you can also sit down with healthcare representatives AND enjoy lunch on us. This event usually takes place in the fall and should not be missed.

Get Safe - Advanced
Community
Lake Forest K-6 residents, who attended "Get Safe - Basic," will get the chance to learn about personal safety awareness, self-defense, bullying prevention and much more. The class is held on 4 consecutive Mondays.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

If you have unused and expired prescription medications that you'd like to dispose of safely, you're encouraged to bring them to one of the many designated Orange County locations on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. It's free, it's anonymous and no questions will be asked. (Please do not bring any needles or syringes.) *This event is NOT sponsored by AOCDS.

Memorial Day - AOCDS Closed

AOCDS will be closed on Memorial Day in honor of those who have died while serving our country's armed forces. Please also take a moment to remember law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. AOCDS will reopen Tuesday, May 29th at 8:00 a.m.

Operation Surf Huntington Beach Begins
Annual
This event is held in support of the men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom. Wounded active-duty and veteran service members from various branches of the U.S. military will take part in an epic life-changing experience at beaches across the Huntington Beach area. Through the healing power of the ocean, surfing, and camaraderie, these wounded heroes, to whom we owe so much, will overcome challenges and build a new understanding of their personal potential.
