“Once Upon a Time in Compton” Book Signing

Former Compton police officers, Tim Brennan and Robert Ladd, got a firsthand glimpse into a world many have only heard about through songs and television. Now, they're telling their in-depth story along with bestselling author, Lolita Files. On Saturday, October 27th, you're invited to get a copy of your book signed by the authors at the Los Angeles Police Museum. The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is not an AOCDS-sponsored event.

Memorial Day - AOCDS Closed

AOCDS will be closed on Memorial Day in honor of those who have died while serving our country's armed forces. Please also take a moment to remember law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. AOCDS will reopen Tuesday, May 29th at 8:00 a.m.

Operation Surf Huntington Beach Begins

This event is held in support of the men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom. Wounded active-duty and veteran service members from various branches of the U.S. military will take part in an epic life-changing experience at beaches across the Huntington Beach area. Through the healing power of the ocean, surfing, and camaraderie, these wounded heroes, to whom we owe so much, will overcome challenges and build a new understanding of their personal potential.
