On Memorial Day and always, we pay tribute to those who have given their lives to protect our country. We thank you for your service. AOCDS will be closed today in honor of those heroes. We will reopen tomorrow at 8 a.m.
This event is held in support of the men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom. Wounded active-duty and veteran service members from various branches of the U.S. military will take part in an epic life-changing experience at beaches across the Huntington Beach area. Through the healing power of the ocean, surfing, and camaraderie, these wounded heroes, to whom we owe so much, will overcome challenges and build a new understanding of their personal potential.
