We are extremely proud to let you know that the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs has its very own pipe band and is currently recruiting new members. Are you an experienced bagpiper looking to be part of a team and take on a fun, exciting and rewarding new hobby? The AOCDS Pipe Band would love to speak with you!

The AOCDS Pipe Band has been performing since 2012 and welcomed drummers a year later. It’s made up of world-class piping and drumming instructors who have played in competition bands, including the Grade 1 LA Scots. The AOCDS Pipe Band has been honored to perform at various funerals and memorials over the years and has played at the Orange County Peace Officers’ Memorial, National Peace Officers’ Memorial in Washington, D.C. and on the ice at the Anaheim Ducks’ Law Enforcement Appreciation Night! In the last few years, the band has also brought their powerful music to the following noteworthy events, among others:

-Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics of Southern California
-Orange County Police Canine Association Show
-Fraternal Order of Police Conferences
-Lawmen Football Game

Commitment:
-Attend weekly practice with entire band on Mondays from approximately 5 to 8 p.m. at AOCDS in Santa Ana.
-Daily individual practice.
