Member Advisement: Passing of Deputy Zach Page

Deputy Zach Page passed away this morning surrounded by his loving wife, family and friends following a valiant battle with cancer.

Zach served the residents of Orange County proudly as a Deputy Sheriff, assigned most recently as a motor deputy In Mission Viejo.

After being diagnosed with cancer in 2012, Zach refused to let cancer rob him of his happiness, trying treatment after treatment to get him well enough to get back on his police motorcycle serving his community. With the overwhelming support of his wife Geni, his partners, his loved ones and his friends, Zach continued to beat back the cancer.

I had the privilege of meeting with Zach, Geni and family members at their home Friday and Saturday to offer and provide the support of the men and women of the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriffs. Despite Zach’s sprit and determination, the cancer proved to be too much for Zach and he passed away this morning.

Zach is survived by his wife Geni, who works for the Riverside Police Department as a dispatcher.

Funeral services are pending. AOCDS will provide updated information as it becomes available.
Please keep Geni and all of Zach’s friends and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of wonderful man, husband, and public servant.

Respectfully,

Tom Dominguez
