Deputy Evan Sanchez has been an AOCDS representative since 2022 and joined the AOCDS Negotiations Team in 2023. In April 2023, Evan was appointed to the AOCDS Board of Directors as 2^nd Vice President.

Upon graduating from the Orange County Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy in 2017, Evan was assigned to Custody Operations at the Theo Lacy Facility (TLF). In 2020, Evan was promoted to Deputy Sheriff II and assigned to Southeast Patrol Operations in the City of Mission Viejo. During his time in patrol operations, his favorite assignment was being a School Resource Officer (SRO).

Currently, he is assigned to the Professional Services Command under the S.A.F.E. (Strategy. Accountability. Focus. Evaluation.) Division.
