Francisco Ochoa was appointed by the AOCDS Board of Directors in early 2018 after we added units consisting of probation officers, sheriff’s-coroner investigators, public assistance investigators and park rangers.

Francisco has been with the Orange County Probation Department since 2006. While there, he has been an active OCEA Probation Service Unit (PSU) union member, serving as president, and also steward. Prior to becoming a Supervising Juvenile Correctional Officer (SJCO), Francisco served our country in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer for 10 years. In both the military and probation, Francisco was able to hone his leadership skills, administrative experience and strategic problem-solving.

Francisco says he is honored and excited to have been chosen as a member of the AOCDS Board of Directors and is proud to represent, not just probation, but members from all our units.
